The Amazon line of smart speakers are powerful home improvement tools – the Amazon Echo can answer questions, control lights, play music, and loads more.
Alexa, the Echo‘s AI “mind”, can ping users with a notification when items in their cart or on their Wish List go on sale.
To get small notifications for big-time savings, open the Alexa app and tap the three lines in the lower right corner – this section is labeled “More”.
Navigate to Settings and then tap Notifications.
On the next page, click on Amazon Shopping and scroll to the section marked Shopping Recommendations.
The small section of text should read “Receive personalized recommendations based on your shopping activity.”
Toggle on the tab reading Deal Recommendations.
Going forward, Alexa will notify you of an upcoming sale on a product you’ve shown interest in.
