ALDI’S popular hanging egg chair is making a comeback and shoppers will be able to purchase the item in store for the first time.
The swinging seat regularly leaves shoppers with egg on their face as it sells out fast.
Egg chairs have become a sell-out success in recent years and are popular with influencers such as Mrs Hinch.
Discount supermarket Aldi is one of the most popular places to snap up a bargain chair as its prices are often lower than its rivals.
Aldi’s swinging egg chair is regularly listed online as a Specialbuy item and often sells out in record time, leaving shoppers disappointed.
It sold out within hours when it was listed on the Aldi website earlier this month.
Shoppers will have another chance in March though.
Aldi’s Gardenline Hanging Egg Chair will be available to order online from 8am on March 3 plus it will be in stores for the first time to purchase on the same day.
The chair will cost £189.99.
It is made of wicker material and comes with its own polyester cushions, all hanging on a steel frame with a total weight of 24kg.
Shoppers will be limited to one item and you can check availability and pre-order on the Aldi website now.
It also comes with a three-year warranty.
There is no charge for standard delivery if you order online but it will cost £3.95 for next day or named day delivery.
You can also use the Aldi store finder to check your nearest supermarket.
Don’t forget to shop around using websites such as Google Shopping or Price Spy to see if you can get the same or equivalent deal cheaper elsewhere.
For example, OnBuy is also selling a similar chair for £145.95.
Argos is currently offering 25% off egg chairs but its cheapest is £360.
