PARENTS after a bargain are flocking to Aldi to pick up kids school uniforms for just a fiver.
The clothing went on sale today on the discount retailer’s website – and items are selling fast.

Mums and dads can get school essentials starting from just £1.50 for sweatshirts.
Pre-orders for Aldi‘s range of school clothes started on July 3 with items being dispatched from July 7.
But huge demand for the bargain Specialbuys means that some pieces have already sold out online.
Girls grey trousers costing just £1.75 have already flown off the virtual shelves, with just two of the eight sizes available left in stock.
A pack of three boys white shirts has sold out in three sizes for older children.
Boys greys trousers, unisex sweatshirts in red and black have all sold out completely.
Other items like a two-pack of grey pinafore dresses priced at £6.99 still have the full age range in stock.
Parents will be able to get the uniforms in person though when they hit stores on Thursday (July 7).

Aldi’s school uniform Specialbuys are an essential date in the diary for money-saving parents each year.
They can pick up a sweatshirt, polo shirt and skirt or trousers for just £5.
But that’s 50p more than last year, when the outfit cost £4.50.
Anyone buying online will also have to fork out for delivery costs on top which start from £2.95.
Specialbuy items are unlikely to come into stock again – usually once they are gone, they’re gone.
But you could keep an eye out on Aldi’s website in case more stock becomes available, for example if items get returned.

New rules mean school uniforms could be cheaper this year.
Schools must make sure uniforms are affordable for all families and can no longer insist upon branded items that are usually pricier.
The Department for Education has said parents can save £50 by buying uniform from any store, rather than a specialist shop.
