SHOPPERS are flocking to Aldi for a festive snack dupe that is cheaper than Greggs.

A pack of two festive bakes are selling for £1.39 in Aldi. 

The bakes are filled with tender chicken breast pieces, smoked bacon, sage seasoning and cranberries in a creamy rich sauce. 

The frozen bakes can be prepared in just 28 minutes. 

One shopper rushed to Facebook to share the dupe in the Food Finds UK Official group.

The post racked up over 230 likes and comments. 

One user claimed: “I had these last year and loads better than Greggs.”

“I’ll be buying a packet or two,” confessed another

A third user said: “We have to try these ones.”

If you are interested in grabbing the authentic Greggs festive bake they are available in all Greggs stores from £1.95 or as part of the Savoury and Hot Drink deal from £3.20. 

However, fans have been left fuming this year are learning the bakery giant will not be bringing back the Vegan festive bake. 

Greggs has explained the new Spicey Curry Bake is meant to act as a substitute bake for Greggs Vegan fans this year.

You can also purchase frozen Vegan Festive Bakes and Festive Bakes from Iceland at £3.50 for a pack of two.

The festive bake is made up of a crumb-topped pastry, filled with pieces of chicken, sage and onion stuffing and sweetcure bacon, covered in a creamy sage & cranberry sauce.

In other news, Starbucks has also launched its festive menu as well and it contains eight festive drinks including a hazelnut crunch hot chocolate.
