ALDI shoppers are going wild for a crumpet loaf that’s “what dreams are made of”.
The German discounter has started stocking the hybrid snack and fans are out in their droves trying to get hold of it.
One said: “What dreams are made of,” while another added: “This is heaven.”
Meanwhile, a third shopper simply said: “Game changer” and a fourth added: “What a time to be alive!”
An Aldi spokesperson said the product is on sale for £1.69 and available in selected stores.
It’s not the first time Aldi has stunned shoppers with its produce – the retailer is known for selling cheap perfume dupes.
Customers were recently flocking to pick up a £6 smelly £229 cheaper than the real thing.
Meanwhile, others spotted one scanning for £6 and £214 less than an iconic designer version.
