ALDI will sell Kevin the Carrot soft toys later this month but fans are more interested in Ebanana Scrooge and Marcus Radishford.
The new Christmas characters were introduced in Aldi’s festive ad, which is an animated take on A Christmas Carol, and features footballer Marcus Rashford as a radish.
Aldi has confirmed that Kevin the Carrot soft toys will be available to buy in stores and online from November 25.
And shoppers will be excited to hear they can also buy plush versions of the new stars of Aldi’s Christmas advert.
It hasn’t said how much they’ll cost but last year prices started at £3.99.
Fans took to Twitter after Aldi’s Christmas advert was launched to ask whether they could buy cuddly Ebanana Scrooge and Marcus Radishford toys.
One shopper said: “My boys are now bugging me for a Marcus Radishford soft toy… momma will not be in the good books till she gets one!”
Another wrote: “Is there going to be an Ebanana scrooge book/soft toy?”
Aldi confirmed that customers will only be able buy two toys per transaction as they’re expected to be in high demand.
Last year, the supermarket had to introduce a digital queuing system usually used to manage Glastonbury ticket sales to control the influx of customers.
In previous years the supermarket’s website has crashed due to the amount of shoppers trying to buy their own cuddly carrot.
In 2020, the toys sold out within an hour and then appeared on eBay at hugely inflated prices.
The Sun spotted a giant Kevin toy, which cost £19.99 at Aldi, on the auction site for the advertised price of £75.
Viewers have said this year’s Aldi advert is the “best ever” and even beats John Lewis’.
The department store’s festive ad is about an alien experiencing Christmas traditions for the first time.
McDonald’s is the latest chain to launch its Christmas commercial, featuring a girl and her imaginary best friend.
