Aldi has collated the ratings from shoppers to find out the six top wines you don’t want to miss out on.
Aldi’s selection of wines have seen them receive the Wine Retailer of the Year award, as well as the Wine Supermarket of the Year title over the last year.
So that, combined with shoppers’ honest reviews, speaks volumes.
Whether you are a white wine lover, have a penchant for a large glass of red, or crisp rosé in the heat, others may prefer something with a little fizz – and Aldi has the lot.
The top picks feature Austrian Chardonnay white wines to the five star red, but if nothing takes your fancy you can shop all of Aldi’s wines here.
Austrian Chardonnay
With an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars, shoppers praised its light and fruity flavour.
One shopper’s review read: “This one is a total success. Really lovely and dry and easy to drink. A no brainer at this price.”
Canadian Rosé
The Canadian Rosé received 4.7 out of 5 stars for its light and dry flavour.
A shopper wrote: “Light and refreshing rose wine, strawberries to the fore. Silky smooth. I’ve just ordered more.”
Amarone Della Valpolicella
With an average of 4.7 out of 5 stars, this full body red wine is a steal.

The golden girl of all of Aldi’s wine with a five star rating from shoppers.
One happy shopper gushed: “Stunning! Great representation of the Piedmont region! Subtle hints of truffle really make this wine come to life!”

Vintage Cava
Another firm favourite wine, with an average of 4.7 out of 5 star rating from shoppers is the Vintage Cava, which has been likened to more expensive counterparts.
“A great vintage cava that tastes as good as any of the more expensive ones”, shared one shopper.
Canadian Riesling
The Canadian Riesling has been rated an average of 4.6 out of five stars.
One shopper wrote: “What a discovery. Like others who have reviewed, I just took a chance on this Riesling. Wow, it’s fantastic fruity, full bodied just great!!”
