ALDI has launched its Christmas click and collect slots and shoppers can book their place now.

The discount supermarket has revealed details of how families can order their festive grub and pick it up from their local branch.

You can book your slot on Aldi’s website now in order to pick your shopping up in a one-hour collection window between December 19 and December 23.

More than 200 stores across the UK offer the click and collect service – you can find where your nearest branch is using Aldi’s store locator tool online.

You’ll be able to park in a designated click and collect parking space in Aldi’s car park.

Then a member of staff will bring your shopping out to you and load it into your boot.

However, you might want to get a move on if you’re planning on booking a click and collect slot.

The Sun has reported that supermarkets are rapidly running out of Christmas delivery slots – with Tesco shoppers waiting for hours to get one early only to be left disappointed.

Ocado also ran out last month after it opened up slots to priority customers while Sainsbury’s opens its bookings on November 30 – but online queues are predicted.

It means you might want to think about booking sooner rather than later as demand for online shopping still remains high following the pandemic.

If you’re planning on stocking up on festive grub when booking your click and collect slot, Aldi has revealed details of its Christmas menu this year you can check out.

Shoppers can bag themselves a partridge in a pear tree wellington, pigs in beds, and a garlic dough ball tree.
