ALDI is launching its first-ever Kevin the Carrot advent calendar and it costs just 79p.
The popular animated carrot and his family will come in Aldi’s popular Dairyfine chocolate form.
Fans of Kevin breathed a sigh of relief last week after worrying about the carrot as he didn’t appear in the original Christmas Adverts for the supermarket.
The advent calendar goes on sale in shops from today.
You can find your nearest Aldi using its store locator tool.
However, after much rooting for his return, Kevin resumed his place as Aldi’s Christmas mascot.
He joins new Christmas characters Ebanana Scrooge and Marcus Radishford played by Marcus Rashford MBE.
Aldi’s Christmas Advert follows the lines of Charles Dicken’s tale, A Christmas Carol.
Viewers have said this year’s Aldi advert is the “best ever” and even beats John Lewis’.
Fans can also get their hands on Kevin the Carrot merchandise – Aldi has confirmed that Kevin the Carrot soft toys will be available to buy in stores and online from November 25.
However, there has been no confirmation about whether plush versions of Ebanana Scrooge or Marcus Radishford will be available.
Aldi confirmed that customers will only be able to buy two toys per transaction as they’re expected to be in high demand.
In previous years the supermarket’s website has crashed due to the number of shoppers trying to buy their own Kevin.
In 2020, the toys sold out within an hour and then appeared on eBay at hugely inflated prices.
The Sun spotted a giant Kevin toy, which cost £19.99 at Aldi, on the auction site for the advertised price of £75.
