ALDI has slashed the price of its outdoor pizza oven, and the bargain has popped up just in time for the bank holiday.

The Specialbuy only launched online last month, but it’s already come down in price.

Aldi’s Gardenline gas pizza oven was almost £200, but the budget supermarket has discounted the popular item by 10%.

Shoppers now only have to fork out £179.99 to get their hands on it.

It means they get to keep an extra £20 in their pockets to put toward a few thirst quenching drinks down the pub this bank holiday weekend or on something special for the kids over Easter break.

The nifty tool features a black steel design with two heat settings, easy glide wheels and a heat-guarded handle to make it conveniently movable.

The oven also comes with a pizza stone, which would otherwise set shoppers back another £15 on average to buy separately.

But make sure you have the room to spare for the new gadget as it can’t be used indoors or in confined spaces – it’ll be right at home with your garden BBQ though.

The only catch is that you’ll have to pre-order it if you’re eager to splash out now.

The garden gadget isn’t due to dispatch until April 24, so it might not be this bank holiday that you’ll be flipping dough for a classic Italian taste.

With a two to seven day delivery time frame after that though, you’ll be sure to get your new buy by the May bank holiday coming up in just over a month’s time.

The oven is only available to buy online, so you won’t have any luck searching high and low for the bargain in-store.

That also means shoppers have to factor in the home delivery cost of £3.95 that comes on top.

But you won’t want to hang around if you are planning on splashing out.

Aldi’s Specialbuys quickly fly off the shelves, and shoppers have been disappointed in the past when popular items have sold-out quickly.

With that said, always shop around before purchasing to make sure you’re getting the best price available.

A budget alternative could be a BBQ topper like Home Bargains’ latest gizmo.

The contraption is only £40 so you could save £140 if you’re not fussed on buying the full size device.

Though, Aldi has likened its larger scale version of the cooking equipment to the Lifestyle Verona Deluxe gas pizza oven priced at £799 – meaning Aldi shoppers would be saving £599.01.
