MILLIONS of TV viewers have gained access to a major streaming app with more than 18,000 hours of new TV shows and films.
“About time; I’ve been using my PS5 to watch but now I can use sleep-mode on my TV,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Earlier this week, Crunchyroll rolled its app out to LG Smart TV users globally.
Crunchyroll boasts one of the largest anime libraries on telly, with a whopping 46,000 episodes and films.
“Our new partnership with LG makes it even easier to be an anime fan,” Kaliel Roberts, Chief Product Officer at Crunchyroll, said in the announcement.
“Anime offers a variety of genres and viewing adventures and now viewers have even more options to dive deeper.”

Crunchyroll has more than 13 million paying subscribers globally across over 200 countries.
Crunchyroll boasts acclaimed anime titles, including My Hero Academia, JUJUTSU KAISEN, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Chainsaw Man, and Attack on Titan.
It also features beloved classics such as Cowboy Bebop, and One Piece – which was recently adapted live by Netflix.
The app is available on 15 platforms, including most gaming consoles and most recently Samsung TVs.

Many people assume the TVs on the shelves today will come ready-loaded with the mainstream apps – but that’s not always the case.

A third person wrote: “Thank you so much for putting it on the LG TVs.
“I can finally watch all my anime not just on my phone anymore now I can enjoy all my shows on a big screen.”
