We explain all the treats you can get to help you save some cash.

Greggs – free Festive Bake

Greggs fans will be pleased to hear they can bag a free Festive Bake with the deal lasting through all of this month – but it’s only available for new app users.

However, you’ll have to act quick, as there’s a limited supply of 50,000 the chain is handing out at no cost.

To get one, you’ll need to download the Greggs app from the App Store or Google Play which is free to do.

The deal will be in the rewards section of your account, and simply show the code to a member of staff in a Greggs store who will scan it at the till.

If you’re a vegan, you can grab the vegan version of the Festive Bake instead for free.

The Festive Bake is filled with pieces of cooked chicken, sage and onion stuffing and cooked sweetcure bacon, with a sage and cranberry sauce.

While the vegan one is filled with Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing balls and vegan bacon crumb.

Costa – free hot drink

Need something to perk you up on a cold winter morning? You can get a free coffee at Costa to get you through the chills.

Customers who have signed up to the Costa Club loyalty scheme will have a chance of getting a free bevvie.

Teas, fruit coolers, hot chocolates, Frostino frappes and “handcrafted” coffees are included too.

However, Costa is giving out one million free drinks at random to customers.

It most likely means that not everyone who is signed up to the scheme will get one.

You also will have had to have signed up Costa’s loyalty scheme before December 1 by downloading the app via Google Play or the App Store.

The offer ends this Friday – so you’ll know by this point if you’re one of Costa’s lucky customers.

You have four weeks to claim your free drink if you’ve been selected.

Sky – free games and films

Sky customers can cash in on five freebies this Christmas if they pay for broadband, TV, talk or mobile services.

It includes:

  • Free football and darts games to watch on Boxing Day
  • Free worldwide calls and free Sky Mobile Data on Christmas Day and Boxing Day
  • Free films including Sing, SAS: Red Notice and Blithe Spirit

You don’t have to do anything to claim your freebie.

It will automatically be applied to your account.

Morrisons – free kids Christmas dinner

Kids can get their Christmas dinner with all the trimmings for free at Morrisons cafe.

The supermarket is offering kids the free grub as long as an adult buys a meal which costs more than £4.50.

It revealed its festive menu earlier this month which includes Christmas dinner for £5.

You could get a Christmas afternoon tea for £12 for two people which includes sandwiches, cakes and Yorkshire Tea.

Or there’s a pigs under blankets sandwich for £2.95 to tuck into.
