Whether it’s the classical covers of modern hits in Bridgerton, or the eerie percussive music in Squid Game, many of Netflix‘s most popular TV shows have iconic soundtracks.

Now, Netflix has teamed up with Spotify to launch a new hub where fans can listen to the music behind their favourite programmes.

The hub is available to Free and Premium listeners, and includes soundtracks, playlists and podcasts for programmes including Money Heist, Bridgerton and Squid Game.

Spotify announced the new hub in a blog on its website.

‘Today’s trending shows and movies aren’t just inspiring fandoms, they’re also fueling internet-wide obsessions,’ it said.

‘So much so that within two weeks of Squid Game’s debut on Netflix, Spotify listeners had created more than 22,500 unique themed playlists to keep the experience going.

‘It’s clear that after the credits roll, viewers are left wanting even more – and they come to Spotify to hear it.

‘So starting today, the two streaming companies are coming together to launch an all-new Netflix Hub on Spotify where fans can get the full audio-streaming experience from the entertainment they love.’

The hub is available for Free and Premium listeners in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland and India, and includes music for Money Heist, Bridgerton, On My Block, Squid Game, Bruised and Cowboy Bebop.

‘By simply searching ‘Netflix’ on Spotify, you can find and sing along to the music behind some of your favorite Netflix shows – all in one place,’ Spotify said.

The launch of the hub comes shortly after Squid Game emerged as Netflix’s most-watched TV show or film ever.

The streaming service rolled out a new website measuring viewing figures in a bid to provide greater transparency.

Fourteen years of secrecy came to an end with the launch of the metrics website Netflix Top 10, which shows Netflix’s most popular TV shows and films both globally and in more than 90 individual countries.

And sitting comfortably at the top of the company’s list is the Korean sensation Squid Game.
