And pudding-lovers are warned Black Forest sundaes have no brownie pieces inside.

A source said: “The list of things you couldn’t have was almost as long as the menu.”

Branded menus plead: “Beer with us”.

Bosses say: “If you can’t sip on your favourite drink or munch on your dish of your choice today, please know we’re really sorry and hope something else takes your fancy.”

Diner Sarah Law, 50, of Hereford, said: “We were so disappointed to see a list of so many things not on the menu.

“We’d been especially looking forward to a flame grilled combo and a lovely sticky toffee pudding but were left disappointed.

“I miss my favourite dishes.”

Beefeater said: “Like many businesses at the moment, we’re experiencing supply chain pressures.

“We’re working very hard to try to resolve issues.”
