Among Us is a multiplayer social deduction game that takes place in a space-themed setting and was published by American game studio Innersloth.

Who are the Among Us characters?
There are 12 characters in Among Us, each with its own individual colour.
Learning all of the characters can be useful for when you need to seal a deal in an emergency meeting, as you can identify the character by their colour.
The characters are:

Can I customise my character?
Before starting a game in Among Us all players will gather in a small airlock area with laptops and crates.
Once you have chosen your colour you can then customize your character, but you need to load into a lobby.

The interface will have smaller tabs where you can view your customisation options of hats, skins, and pets.
Skins will change the full costume of the player and hats will alter their headwear.
Customisation options can be free or paid for, and PC players will likely have access to more skins as they have paid for the game.
For mobile iOS and Android players, the game itself is free, but skins will cost extra, and both PC and mobile users will have to pay for pets that follow the character around while they complete their tasks.

Discussions are a way for players to deduce who the imposters might be and discuss tactics, and for an imposter lying low so as to not draw attention to themselves can be a good way to hide in plain sight.
As imposters’ objective is to sabotage the game rather than complete specific tasks, they may repeat tasks so that they look like they do have a clear objective.
Other things to look out for when trying to catch an imposter are randomly pausing, walking away from a body (as they may be the killer), and never calling emergency meetings.
