The new festive crispy chicken is a chicken breast fillet with cranberry sauce, safe and onion mayo, bacon, red onion, lettuce, and cheddar cheese.

It will cost £4.89 on its own or £6.39 as part of a meal – although prices will vary across the country.

However, fans of the Chicken Legend will be disappointed as it’s been temporarily axed from the menu until January to make way for the Christmas version.

Meanwhile, the festive stack includes two beef patties with a red onion relish, white cheese sauce, bacon, crispy onions, red onion, lettuce and cheddar cheese.

McDonald’s has also added some sweet treats to the menu, including the Celebrations McFlurry and a festive pie.

The new menu items will be available in McDonald’s restaurants from November 17, and will only be around for six weeks.

There’s also two new hot drink options available at McDonald’s this Christmas.

The choco fudge latte and hot chocolate deluxe have already launched in store.

Some other items are being taken off the menu to make room for the new products, including the double Big Mac, mozzarella dippers and the Crunchie McFlurry.
