Wynn Resorts Ltd. Chief Executive Matt Maddox will leave the casino operator in January, the company said Tuesday.

Mr. Maddox stepped into the CEO role after company founder Steve Wynn resigned in February 2018, amid allegations against Mr. Wynn of sexual misconduct. Mr. Maddox will remain on the boards of Wynn Macau Ltd. and Wynn Interactive Ltd. through the end of 2022, Wynn Resorts said.
