WAITING for your iPhone to charge fully can be a tedious task but there are ways you can speed up the process.
Try one of these four methods and see if any help improve your iPhone charging experience.

Buy a ‘faster charger’
The main way to charge your phone faster is to invest in a fast-charging power cable and adapter.
Fast-charging uses USB technology called USB Power Delivery (USB PD).
Standard 5W chargers that used to come with iPhones don’t deliver fast-charging so you may want to stop using old chargers you have lying around and consider upgrading.
Some iPads come with a 12W charging block so you can always try using this to speed up your iPhone charge times.
If you have an iPhone 8 or newer then your phone will support 18W connections and higher.
A fast-charging cable could charge your iPhone to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Apple did sell the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max with a fast charger but stopped putting chargers in boxes when it came to the iPhone 12 series.
Don’t use wireless charging in a hurry
It may be convenient but wireless charging isn’t always the quickest method.
According to BGR, the older your iPhone is the more this applies.
Leave your iPhone alone
We know it’s hard to stay away from Instagram and TikTok, but it could result in your handset hitting max power quicker.
It may also ween you off your social media habit – so it’s a double-win.
Also, if you can, try not to make long phone calls while your phone is charging as this type of activity only serves to slowdown the process.
Choose your external charger wisely
If you carry around a battery pack to charge on the go then you should do your research and pick a good one.
Wired options are thought to be more affective than wireless and should speed things up.
