Lots of Brits have the day off work as it’s a Bank Holiday in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Banks, schools and supermarkets are either closed or have edited their opening hours today.

Chemists and pharmacies are also among the businesses that have reduced their hours for the summer Bank Holiday.

Most Boots pharmacies are open today, but with reduced hours.

Opening and closing times will vary depending on the store’s location.

You can find your nearest branch using an online store locator.

Superdrug’s opening times also vary across the country today, but you can search for your local store here.

Lloyd’s Pharmacy has closed many sites today, but it has published a full list of which stores are open with reduced operating hours.

Most of its chemists aren’t open today after 4pm.

Well Pharmacy has also closed most of its branches, but you can search online to see if your nearest one is open.

You can find a list of chemists in your area by searching for your postcode on the NHS website.

If you need medical assistance and it’s not an emergency you can call NHS 111, and a healthcare worker will assess you and can book you an appointment at A&E if necessary.

If it is an emergency, you should go to A&E or call an ambulance.
