Has anyone in the UK won McDonald’s Monopoly?

McDonald’s Monopoly came back on August 25 and will run until October.

In a FAQ on its website (that means frequently asked questions), McDonalds says a definitive “Yes!” to this query.

The fast food chain says it’s given away “millions of prizes” to “millions of people” in the UK over the years.

“In 2018, a whopping 8,006,175 prizes were claimed, including 6 Mini Coopers, three £100k prizes, two £25k prizes and a Universal Holiday.”

Maccies also has a website where there’s a daily update on how many of each prizes have been won.

That means you can check what’s still up for grabs before you tuck into your next meal.

How much money is up for grabs with McDonald’s Monopoly?

One of the McDonald’s Monopoly prizes up for grabs is cash money of £100,000.

There’s £400,000 in total being given away and the not-small amount will go to four lucky winners.

For this prize you’ll need to be over 18 to claim, otherwise a parent or guardian will have to claim it on your behalf.

You could also be in with a chance of winning £1,000 too.

The smaller – but not insignificant – prize money will go to 50 lucky winners and this is cash you can win instantly.
