Naftali Bennett, 49, has vaccine shot live on social media to encourage take-up and avoid fourth lockdown
The Israeli prime minister, Naftali Bennett, has received a third shot of the Pfizer/BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine after Israel extended its booster campaign for people aged 40 and over to try to curb the Delta variant.
Cases in Israel have surged since Delta’s emergence and Bennett, 49, has sought to avoid an economically painful national lockdown by ramping up third doses.
