SHOPPERS can get their hands on a free Coke Zero this month as thousands are being given away.

You’ll be able to pick up a 500ml bottle of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola Zero Vanilla or Coca-Cola Zero Cherry once you’ve redeemed the free voucher.

There are three flavours up for grabs that normally cost around £1.40 to buy

The price of the bottles can vary depending on which store you pick one up from, but at Tesco you’d usually have to fork out £1.40 for the drink.

All you have to do to claim one for free though is register for one of the 525,000 vouchers that are up for grabs.

You can choose between any of the three flavours but you’ll only be able to claim one free of charge.

It’s easily redeemable by visiting thiscokeisonus, but the promotion is only running until August 29, so there’s only two weeks left to claim the freebie.

You’ll have to enter a few details like your name and birthday, and you’ll have to check that the site can access your location.

Make sure your location services are turned on otherwise it won’t work.

Once the site knows whereabouts in the country you are though, it can provide a list of stores that you’ll be able to pick up one of the freebies from.

It includes supermarkets like Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, as well as service stations like BP, plus other retailers like Boots, or WHSmith, and you can even pick up the freebie in Greggs.

Stock will be subject to availability so you might want to call ahead once you’ve chosen a store to check they have the flavour you’re after.

You can’t use it online though, so you’ll have to head out to the nearest store to redeem.

Pick one and you’ll get an email sent to the address you provided with your new voucher – it’s best to get this sent to your phone too as you can only claim the voucher on a mobile.

Show the voucher to a member of staff at the checkout and you’ll be able to get the drink for free without needing to make any other purchases either.

The voucher will only become valid once you have arrived at the outlet you have selected, so that’s why the location settings are important too.

If you’re not in the right store, you will see a message telling you “Your free Coke Zero isn’t far away” and you’ll have to travel to the right place.

You can only claim one Coke per email address, and the voucher will only work once too.

Plus, once you’ve activated it, you may only have a limited amount of time to use it before it expires – in some locations that’s only an hour before it’s void.

It’s not the first time the fizzy drinks franchise has given away freebies, as at Christmas, shoppers could get their hands on a free personalised can.

Plus, fans could get a free bottle of the pop by claiming vouchers online back in September last year too.

If you’re on the hunt for more freebies though, we’ve got the full list of everything you can claim once you’ve got both of your jabs.
