HOMEBASE is sellling an 8ft trampoline for the bargain price of £125 – and it’s up to £40 cheaper than its rivals.
The Plum Turquoise 8ft Trampoline comes with a safety net that can be fitted to steel columns attached to the jumping pad.

The trampoline frame is made from steel which means it won’t rust, according to Homebase.
Weather-proof pads also protect the trampoline springs, meaning you don’t have to cover or move the trampoline into the shed if it rains or snows.
The jumping pad can also withstand weight of up to 50kg.
It’s free to get it delivered to your door via standard delivery or if you use Homebase’s click and collect service – otherwise it costs £6 for next or named day delivery.
The Sun spotted that similar-looking trampolines cost up to £40 more than Homebase’s – inlcuding Decathalon, which is selling one for £165.
How to compare prices to get the best deal
JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.
Here are some that we recommend:
- Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
- Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
- Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
- CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
While Robert Dyas and Wilko are selling the same sized trampolines for £150 – £25 more expensive.
John Lewis was also selling one for £150, and Smyths Toys is flogging one for £140 – £15 more than Homebase’s.
Before you splash out, make sure to compare prices online.
You may find the same – or similar – item is being sold elsewhere for less.
