TESCO is selling a three seater inflatable sofa bed for £50.

The Intex blow-up bed can be folded away to provide seating for up to three people and pulls out to make a comfortable queen-sized sleeping area.

The bed is perfect for camping trips or if you’ve got a small or temporary living space to fill, like student digs.

It has a charcoal grey velvety surface with a comfortable backrest and armrest when it’s in either position, plus, it features two cup holders as well.

The sofa bed includes a two-in-one valve that has extra-wide openings for fast inflating and deflating, and the whole thing folds compactly for easy storage too.

The bargain buy was spotted on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group as shoppers shared their thoughts on the Facebook page.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

One user who had already bought the bed said: “It is big and comfortable, would definitely recommend it.”

While another commented: “This would be great for the tent.”

But not everyone gave rave reviews.

One user said: “We loved ours until we used the cup holder which got a massive split in it, so we exchanged for a new one that was burst when we got it so we gave up! Hope yours lasts longer.”

Another agreed that the bed might be too vulnerable a material for their household, saying: “Maybe for camping but my cat would definitely pop that.”

Unfortunately you won’t be able to buy the bed online at Tesco, so it’ll take a trip out to the shops to cash in.

You can use Tesco’s store locator to find your closest, but it’s worth keeping in mind that stock will be subject to availability.

You might want to ring ahead before you make the trip out to save any disappointment.

In the meantime we’ve asked Tesco how many are on offer and where you’re likely to find them and we’ll update this story when we know more.

As always it’s best to shop around before you commit to a purchase, as you might find there’s a better bargain out there somewhere else.

From E-Bikes Outlet you can buy a Bestway five in one fold out sofa bed that’s been reduced to £34.

It was originally £45 so as well as it being cheaper than Tesco’s by £16, you make an £11 saving just at the store.

It’s a bit smaller than the Intex one but two people will still be able to cosy up on the couch.

Argos has its own different version of the Intex pull-out bed for the same price as Tesco, but the store warns that stock is very limited.

You will be able to order this one online, but it’s going to cost you an extra £3.95 for the privilege.

Argos also has a cheaper inflatable chair version too for £35, that also folds out to make a single bed.

Another Bestway version of the inflatable sofa bed is available on Amazon too for £60, which makes it £10 more than the Tesco deal.

It’s a slightly larger bed once pulled out, so the extra tenner could be worth it if you’re after more space on your next camping trip or in your space at home.

Tesco has launched huge summer baby sale with more than 30% off items including Tommee Tippee and Pampers too.

The store is also offering a £1,000 joining bonus to any new lorry drivers who start before September.

But the supermarket’s banking branch is due to close all current accounts by November this year.
