B&M is selling an iced coffee maker for only £35 so you can make delicious frozen refreshments from home.

The Breville iced coffee maker was originally £39.99, so shoppers can save almost £5 on the bargain buy now.

As Brits are returning to the office, a quick morning coffee fix on the way to work this summer could be costly, but buying a home machine could save you lots.

A venti cold brew latte from Starbucks will set you back around £3.55 each time you nip to the coffee shop, though it can vary between stores.

But you could spare the extra change in your pocket each morning by making your very own from home.

It means that after just 10 uses the coffee machine will have virtually paid itself off.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

B&M’s machine brews in under four minutes with delicious and refreshing results every time.

You’ll also be able to make it just the way you like as there is a simple measuring system with a scoop included to make it easy to brew the perfect ratio of hot coffee over a full tumbler of ice without watering it down.

To use the machine you just add water and coffee grounds, as well as ice to the tumbler, and brew.

You can also customise with your favourite flavourings and milks which would usually mean additional charges in a coffee shop.

The 600 ml tumbler keeps iced coffee colder longer as it is double wall insulated and there’s a drip-stop function to prevent mess on your counter too.

It also includes a lid and straw, and a reusable nylon coffee filter, so there’s no need for paper filters.

Unfortunately you can’t shop online at B&M as the discount store doesn’t do home-deliveries, so that means you’ll have to head in-store to pick up the coffee maker.

Use B&M’s store locator tool to find out where your closest is.

As always though, it’s best to shop around first as you might find a better bargain elsewhere and something cheaper might be available from a different retailer.

From Pact Coffee you can buy a cold brew jug for just £15, making it less than half the price of B&M’s.

It will also hold 600ml of coffee and it’s heatproof and dishwasher safe too.

It’s not quite as efficient as the Breville machine though as the jug that is £20 less than B&M’s, has to be left to cool and will take longer than four minutes – you also might have to wait a while before stock returns.

Whittard is selling a similar cold brew coffee bottle, £5 cheaper than B&M’s at £30.

The bottle is perfect for picnics or coffee on the go though, as it comes in a handy travel shape and size with a similar capacity of 650ml which will serve around five cups of coffee.

Delivery of this product is free too, as it’s over the site’s £20 minimum.

You can buy the same Breville make iced coffee machine from Amazon for £40 which makes it £5 more expensive than B&M’s.

You will be able to benefit from free delivery on this item though, so if you can’t make it to the shops and are willing to wait at least a week for it to arrive, the purchase from Amazon might be more convenient.

B&M has a whole range of homeware dupes on offer too, that cost up to 67% less than rivals like Wayfair or Dunelm.

The store has also launched a huge sale on household products this month, with some reduced by as much as 50%.

Shoppers have shared their tricks to getting even more money off at the bargain store too, with one lad showing off a B&M haul worth £125 that he got for just 90p with 10p deals.
