Size: 3,600 square feet

Price per square foot: $153

Indoors: The seller, a family member of the listing agent, bought the property in 2018 after it had been renovated by previous owners. Design plans exist for the installation of an elevator in the garage, with access to the first and second floors.

The original double front door with leaded glass opens to a central living room with hardwood floors, a wainscot with molding (this is found in several rooms on the main floor, as is the Victorian-era ceiling fixture) and a stone fireplace that has been converted to gas. To the right is a music room with orange walls and French doors leading to a side deck. Straight ahead is a dining room with a bay window and walls covered in a pale lilac toile. Beyond that, at the rear of the house, is a yellow sunroom with radiant-heated stone-tile floors and an attached powder room and porch.

The kitchen and butler’s pantry were updated by previous owners with white cabinets, Formica countertops, gray backsplash tile and high-end stainless steel appliances, including a six-burner Dacor range.

Four bedrooms are on the second floor; the most lavish is a primary suite with a sitting room (a washer and dryer are there), a deck and a private bathroom that contains a vanity with twin sinks and a corner shower. Two guest rooms (one with access to a private deck) share a hallway bathroom that includes a tub and shower head. A third guest room, used as an office, has a fireplace with a gas-burning insert.

Three additional bedrooms along with a family room that opens to a widow’s walk are on the third floor, as is a bathroom with a claw-foot tub.

Outdoor space: The deep front porch wraps around the sides of the house, and a one-car garage is tucked into the base. Wrought-iron fencing surrounds the property, which includes a backyard gazebo.

Taxes: $4,645 (2020)
