HARRY Redknapp’s former mansion is up for sale for £11million – complete with a home cinema, swimming pool and its own high-tech golf simulator.
Barry Bester bought the six-bedroom luxury home off the football manager and his wife Sandra in 2015.
Bought for £6.9m, Mr Bester spent £2.5m refurbishing the home – named ‘Harbour Gate’ – and installed his £40,000 state-of-the-art simulator on the front drive.
The system allows golfers to virtually play any course in the world while using ball tracking technology to trace every shot.
The founder of Topps Tiles gutted and refurbished the waterfront home to make it arguably the best property on the Sandbanks peninsula in Dorset.
Mr Betser first put the home on the market for £11million last year.
It has six bedrooms, a kitchen and breakfast room, dining room, lounge, cinema room, indoor swimming pool, gym with a sauna, library, and an office.
The master bedroom is complete with a large en-suite bathroom, an even bigger dressing room and a balcony that overlooks the entrance to Poole Harbour.
Outside there are two sun terraces and a private jetty with “parking” for two jet skis which are hoisted into the water by a hydraulic lift.
The mock-Tutor house is equipped with a double garage containing a professional dog-grooming bathtub and driveway parking for 10 cars.
The property – which was put on the market last year – also comes with a three-bedroom detached gatehouse which alone has an estimated value of £1m.
Adrian Dunford, from Tailor Made, said: “The price is now offers in excess of £10m. The house three doors away sold for £8m and that plot is half the size.
“This one the house is bigger and it’s a double-size plot so it’s worth every penny of that £10m.
“Harbour Gate is the most recognisable property on Sandbanks as well. It looks like a country home that is on the water. It would not look out of place in the middle of the New Forest.
Mr Bester made his fortune when he bought out Topps Tiles in the 1990s after founding rival company, Tile Kingdom.
He managed the company for 26 years and saw it expand across the country with over 240 stores.
He stepped down from his role as chairman in 2011 and sold his remaining share in the company.
