THE British summer has been disappointing so far, but that hasn’t stopped us having plenty of barbecues.

And with a heatwave predicted from July 19, there’s never been a better time to make sure you’re prepared for eating in the great outdoors.

If you’re planning a British camping trip, picnic or even just cooking in your garden – you’re going to love Aldi’s new outdoor burner and grill.

It costs just £29.99 and is currently available for pre-order on the Aldi website – with an estimated dispatch date of July 8.

The grill is just 1p short of Aldi’s free delivery policy, so you might want to throw something else in your basket to swerve the £2.95 standard delivery charge.

It has two 1.5kw aluminium plated burners, one 1.5kw middle burner, a chrome plated cooking grid, and it even features a grill pan with a drip tray and handle.

It comes in a steel case which folds up like a briefcase, making it easy to carry around, but be warned it weighs a hefty 4kg.

It is powered by LPG gas, takes approximately eight minutes to boil a litre of water and can run for a maximum of eight hours.

The gas is not included, so be warned you’ll need to by your butane or propane separately.

The manufacturers say it is perfect for cooking foods such as burgers, hot dogs and more.

But they do warn that you should never use it inside or in a confined space or you’ll run the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Aldi was the cheapest place we could find for a double burner and grill.

Halford’s sold the next cheapest option we could see, with a similar briefcase-style offering for £35.

Argos also had a similar version, but it costs a whopping £60.

If you don’t need the grill pan and only want the burners you can get an even better deal.

Halfords have a single burner for just £12, while Amazon have a double burner for £24.95.

Morrisons is selling a hot tub for £275 and it’s cheaper than Lidl’s.

Aldi is selling a gazebo bar for £180 and it’s £120 less than you’d spend at The Range.

Smyths is selling a 6ft bouncy castle for £100.
