The price of a Whopper at Burger King varies around the country, but you’ll generally pay around £4.49, or as much as £6 in Central London.

The flame-grilled burger is Burger King’s signature menu item and has been served at its restaurants since 1957.

You can get the free whopper offer through the app, which you can download for free.

If you have an iPhone just go to Apple’s app store and with Android phones, it’s on the Google Play store.

Burger King is celebrating its famous Whopper on Wednesday with the giveaway

You’ll need to sign up to the Burger King app, sharing some personal information like your name and email address.

You’ll find the free Whopper voucher in the offers section of the app from 6am on Wednesday (June 23).

You can only use it on the day.

To use the voucher you’ll have to go to a BK branch and either order at the counter or use click and collect on the app.

Click and collect lets you order and pay online, before picking up at your chosen branch.

Unfortunately this offer can’t be used when getting your Burger King order for home delivery.

For veggies and vegans out there, you won’t miss out because the offer can also get you a plant-based whopper that’s meat-free.

Free Whopper vouchers can be used at participating restaurants, so check it’s available at your local store first.

We’ve asked Burger King which locations it can’t be used and will update this story when we hear back.

You won’t be able to use it at Burger King’s located at motorway service stations, airports, train stations and holiday parks.

Find your local Burger King

FINDING your nearest Burger King couldn’t be easier.

You can go to the fast food giant’s website and use it’s store locator tool.

Just choose delivery or restaurant and you can then see branches near you offering either delivery to your home or dine-in services.

Not all branches offer delivery.

You just need to type in your address to use the location service.

Meanwhile if you can’t wait until Wednesday, there’s also a separate deal available now giving new click and collect users a Whopper for just £1.59

You can get a Whopper for free when you spend at least £1, in a deal spotted by a savvy user on the hotukdeals website.

They point out that the cheapest menu item is small fries for £1.59, so you’re getting a burger and chips for that price with the offer.

It’s worth checking the cheapest item on the menu as prices can vary depending on where you are.

If you’ve already used click and collect, you won’t be able to get this deal.

Again, this is not for getting home delivery as you have to order and pay online and pick up in store using click and collect.

That means you also won’t be able to show the voucher in store like with the other freebie.

It’s not the first time Burger King has given away free Whoppers. Just last month it offered Deliveroo users a free burger when spending over £15.

Burger King has added SIX new menu items, including Frozen Fanta and halloumi fries.

Meanwhile you can still get free cinema tickets for top film showings this weekend.
