Talking of missing the office, the UK government’s plans for people returning to work have been one of the things that has cropped up in the morning media appearances.
PA report that crime and policing minister Kit Malthouse said the government did not have any intention to make it compulsory to return to the office, while there will be a consultation on more flexible working going forward.
There’s quite thin pickings in the news this morning, but while you are here, we have a couple of Covid-related diversions today.
