Novak Djokovic has won his second French Open, and 19th grand slam in total, with a thrilling comeback to defeat Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-7 (8), 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.

Greece’s Tsitsipas, who was playing in his first grand slam final, won the first set on a tie-breaker and then broke Djokovic’s serve in the second game of the next set. Tsitsipas then struck again in the seventh game, wrong-footing his opponent for a double break before serving for a two-set lead.
