When is Asda open over the early May bank holiday?

Asda has said opening hours vary for each store, but you can find the opening times of your nearest store by using the online store locator.

Otherwise the store is generally open from 10am to 4pm this Sunday.

And on Monday, the hours can be from 7am to 11pm or midnight, but because of the bank holiday your local store might be closing earlier than this so it’s best to check.

From Tuesday, opening hours will return to their usual timings which will be from 7am to 12am in various stores, and some are even open 24 hours.

Is Asda delivering over the bank holiday?

Asda is conducting delivery services over the bank holiday weekend.

You can book delivery slots up to a day before you want your groceries brought to your door and the slots can range from £3 to £4.50 depending on the time of day you go for.

If you’re in a rush though, you can browse groceries online, add them to your basket and pick them up same day if a click and collect option is available for you.

There’s a £3 charge on delivery orders under £40 and the same for click and collect orders under £25.00.

When are the bank holiday dates for 2021?

Here is the full list of upcoming 2021 bank holidays in England and Wales.

Dates in Scotland and Northern Ireland vary.

  • Monday, May 3 (Early May Bank Holiday)
  • Monday, May 31 (Spring Bank Holiday)
  • Monday, August 30 (Summer Bank Holiday)
  • Saturday, December 25 (Christmas Day)
  • Sunday, December 26 (Boxing Day)

You’ll have to be careful about online orders with the store as shoppers are being warned about a new text scam that pretends to be a delivery notice from Asda.

And the store was been beat in price when Studio launched a garden Tiki bar for £200 – £100 cheaper than Asda’s sold out one.

But there are still ways to nab a bargain at the supermarket as six secrets have been revealed to bagging ‘yellow sticker’ food from shops like Asda.
