BARGAIN hunters have spotted tons of reduced stock in Primark – with prices as low as £1.

The budget fashion chain reopened this week in England and Wales.

Primark’s prices are super cheap, so it doesn’t have the same end of season sales like other retailers.

Instead each store has a small number of reduced items on older stock and these are marked using red stickers.

That means the items on offer in each store will vary.

Items spotted by bargain hunters include a Riverdale mug for £1, and a Monsters Inc cushion down to £5 from £9.

There were also Disney themed duvet sets, including one double set in a Mulan print that was £10, down to £5.

Bath towels had been reduced from £8 to £3. As well as kid’s pyjama sets down from £9 to £5.

The major discounts were spotted by eagle-eyed bargain hunters on the Extreme Bargains Facebook page as part of reductions in-store at Primark in Thanet, Margate.

You’ll have to head to your local Primark to see if any of the stock from before lockdown has been put on sale – you can find your closest store with the retailer’s handy locator tool.

We asked Primark about the reduced pieces returning this week alongside all the new season stock.

The retailer said: “It would be usual for us to have a small proportion of marked down product in stores at any one time, no more than what we would have in the usual course of business.

“The vast majority of what we have on offer is our fresh new Spring/Summer ranges, from new season trends to our great value everyday essentials, and all at our usual great value prices.”

We found six Primark dupes that cost hundreds of pounds less than high street and designer ones.

Primark is also launching its first-ever maternity range for mums-to-be and prices start from only £4.

Some stores have opened up their changing rooms with the new lockdown rules in force but Primark will be keeping facilities shut for the time being.
