TINDER crashed for people in the UK and US earlier today, according to frustrated users.

The dating app appears to have stopped working around 3pm BST but reports suggest it’s back up and running again.

Other 1,000 users in the US and another 1,000 in the UK reported issues.

Most complaints were about server issues.

Other users complained that they struggled to send or receive messages.

One person took to Twitter to complain: “Why is Tinder down I’m trying to find the love of my life”.

Other users also tweeted their frustrations but some are claiming the dating app is up and running again.

One said: “Tinder this is not the time to stop working, i’m in the train i need something to do.”

But has since followed up with: “It’s working again time to find the love of my life.”

Tinder is one of the most popular dating apps in the world and today’s problems appear to have been global.

Crash site DownDetector is still stating: “User reports indicate possible problems at Tinder.”

However, the latest DownDetector graph suggests reports of problems are dropping off in the UK.

The cause of the problems remain unknown.

We have reached out to Tinder for comment.
