Pfizer Inc. drew on digital technologies and artificial intelligence to roll out its Covid-19 vaccine to market in less than a year, said Lidia Fonseca, the pharmaceutical company’s chief digital and technology officer.

Ms. Fonseca told the WSJ Pro AI Executive Forum on Wednesday that Pfizer sought to experiment with the technologies and focused its attention on good outcomes for patients, doctors and employees.
