CRIME drama fans will love this secret Netflix code that quickly takes you to all of the platform’s crime documentaries.
There’s actually a large number of secret codes that bring up specific genres if you type them into the Netflix search bar.

The numerical code for Netflix crime documentaries is ‘9875’.
It brings up popular content like ‘Abducted in Plain Sight’, ‘Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel’ and ‘Serial Killer with Piers Morgan’.
Netflix fans will know the streaming service does already have “crime” and “docuseries” categories.
However, the secret code takes you specifically to crime documentaries without you having to search through the categories above.

The code is said to work on the desktop versions of Netflix in the UK and the US.
You might spot one or two pieces of content mixed in with the crime documentaries that shouldn’t be there.
UK Netflix brings up fictional series ‘Behind Her Eyes’ with this code and the further down you scroll the less relevant you’ll find the content will be.
Netflix changes and updates codes all the time so you might find a code that works one day suddenly stops working.
Last month, a secret Netflix code list has appeared online after a Facebook user posted it in a shopping group called ‘Bag a weekly bargain’.
The list contains 235 codes but some are more useful than others.
The post has been shared hundreds of times but people were quick to use the comment section to point out not all of the codes work.
For example, if you type in the code “47465” into your Netflix search bar, you will see some ‘Classic Westerns’ pop up.
However, if you type in the code which the list claims will bring up ‘Classic Action & Adventure’ films, UK Netflix users will just see an error message.
This could be because Netflix changes codes regularly so some of them may no longer work.
Anime fans will be pleased to know code ‘7424’ does still bring up lots of Anime content.
