Is McDonald’s open during lockdown?

McDonald’s can still open under the latest coronavirus restrictions.

However, you can’t sit in to eat your meal.

This means you can only order your food to takeaway, or use the drive-thrus or McDelivery service.

If you’re inside the restaurant, you must follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask unless you are exempt.

When does McDonald’s close under lockdown?

McDonald’s opening and closing times may vary from what customers are used to because of Covid regulations.

Before you make a trip, it’s best to check with your local restaurant by using the chain’s restaurant locator.

Under lockdown rules, pubs and restaurants can serve takeaways and deliveries until 11pm.

And you can use drive-thrus, but these will also close at 11pm.
