INSTAGRAM is down for hundreds of users.
Over 1,500 Instagram users reported problems with the app around 2 pm ET, according to Downdetector.
Meanwhile, over 1,000 in the UK were facing similar issues as the majority of users reported problems with the app itself.
A majority of problems are associated with the app as the platform “won’t load” when users try to check their messages.
“MY INSTAGRAM WONT SEND MESSAGES,” one wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Instagram fail to load early messages ??? Anyone else ???” another complained.

Over 300 users are currently having problems with the site.

Problems spiked in the UK
Over 1,400 Instagram users in the UK reported problems with the app around 2 pm, according to Downdetector.
However, the issues seemed to be resolved quickly as reports dropped to just around 100 as of 2:35 pm.
