FORTNITE’S next update is swiftly around the corner, so get ready to down your controllers for some incoming new features.

Players are currently being kept busy with Fortnite’s Myths & Mortals season, which is all about Greek gods and heroes.

Element-bending has also come hand-in-hand with characters from hit Nickelodeon show Avatar: The Last Airbender – to fit in with the season’s mythological theme. 

Fortnite Festival

The last two updates have focused on Lego Fortnite and Rocket Racing – two of Fortnite’s main game modes.

So it’s thought Epic Games might be laying the groundwork for the Fortnite Festival in the upcoming update version 29.30.

Fortnite Festival is a music-driven, rhythm-based Guitar Hero-style game that revolves around a new artist and their setlist each time.

As always, Epic Games has been tight-lipped as to who this season’s artists will be.

But as the Evening Standard notes, the game makers will have a hard time topping the previous acts.

Fortnite Festival began with The Weeknd, followed by Lady Gaga in season two.
