NINTENDO runs sales on the eShop quite often, but there are some games that almost never go on sale.

Recent releases and the best Nintendo-published games usually stay close to full price a long time after they were launched.

Thanks to an often-overlooked benefit that some Nintendo players enjoy, you can easily slash up to £18 / $20 off the price of some of the best games, even if they are not on sale.

Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers are a little-known perk for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers that can save you a lot of money if you use it right.

Priced at £84 / $100, each voucher lets you grab two games from a selection of Nintendo titles for the Switch.

The list includes more than 80 of the best Switch games and upcoming first-party titles, all of which normally sell at full price without the voucher.

On the list, you will find most Zelda, Mario, and Pokémon games, pre-order titles, and games that Nintendo just released on the Switch.

Some of the most expensive games for Nintendo’s handheld, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, are included.

Upcoming games, such as Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, can also be purchased with vouchers.

Recent releases like Princess Peach: Showtime! and the Mario vs Donkey Kong remake are also part of the evergrowing list.

Depending on the regular price of the games you pick with your voucher, you can save up to £36 / $40 per voucher, for example, if you grab the two latest open-world Zelda games.

Together Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kindom normally cost £120 / $140, but you’ll only pay £84 / $100 if you buy them with a voucher.

Vouchers can be used to redeem two games from the list for up to 12 months after you purchase them.

The only “trick” is that players need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription to buy Game Vouchers.

The vouchers can be purchased directly from the Nintendo eShop app on the Switch.

They can be used only for digital purchases from the eShop, so if prefer physical copies of games, this trick won’t work for you.
