The retailer launched the sale two days ago – and has been offering huge discounts across furniture, bedding, home accessories and more.

One of the essential items being sold for cheap is the Dragonfly Oxford Pillowcase Pair which will set you back just £5.

The reversible pillowcase pair is made of soft brushed cotton – and designed in a classic Oxford style.

Another cheap product on offer is the cute Teddy Hot Water Bottle.

The bottle has been reduced from its original price of £7 to just £1.75 and it is perfect if you are still feeling the chill.

Hot water bottles are this winter’s must-have item as people look for alternative ways to keep warm without putting the heating on.

The cosy cost-saving winter warmers come in many shapes and sizes with some you can even wear around the house.

We put some wearable hot water bottles to the test back in December and the winner was a game changer.

Dunelm has some similar versions to the ones we tested also reduced by half price in the sale.

The teddy bear charcoal long hot water bottle is reduced from £14 to £7 on the Dunelm website and this item is also popular with Dunelm shoppers.

Shoppers absolutely love Teddy Hot Water Bottle and have given it a five-star customer rating on the Dunelm website.

One person said: “Very cute hot water bottle. Nice and cuddly. My son loves it.”

Another wrote: “Great product well made and very cute so much so my granddaughter just loves it and takes it everywhere.”

While a third added: “Cutest hot water bottle – not just for children either!”

However, shoppers have to hurry as the 50 per cent off sale is set to end soon.

Dunelm has announced it will end the sale on March 25.

So customers just have three more days to get all the products sold at slashed prices.

You can find out if you have a Dunelm store near you by using the store locator tool on the website.

Bear in mind that just because items are reduced online this does not mean that you will find the same stock in each store, so do check ahead to avoid disappointment.

We also recommend shopping around before you buy to make sure that you are getting the cheapest deal available.

You can use price comparison sites such as Google Shopping to check the prices of items across different retailers.

We had a look for similar items to what we found in the Dunelm sale to see if we could get cheaper from elsewhere.

We could not find the luggage cheaper at the time we checked, although Matalan does have the same branded luggage in a different colour.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
