PLAYSTATION’s massively successful extraction shooter, Helldivers 2, just received its latest update today, March 20, 2024.
Helldivers 2, patch 1.000.103 brings some important bug fixes and balancing adjustments, but leaves out an issue that many players still have.

Helldivers 2 update 1.000.103 fixes
One of the notable fixes in update 1.00.103 is to the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit, which will no longer self-destruct when firing missiles while turning.
This was a crucial flaw that made the recent Helldivers 2 stratagem quite unreliable in combat.
The update also addresses the problem of enemy patrols spawning on top of players, which was making it impossible for them to avoid damage.
One issue that’s been plaguing some players and still needs to be resolved is with crossplay friend requests.

Many PS5 players have reported that they can’t add friends playing on PC and vice versa, making it difficult to play together.

The balancing changes in this update include adjustments to the spawn rates of Planetary Hazards during missions.
Meteor Showers and Volcanic Activity have been nerfed, meaning they are now less likely to occur, and their characteristics have been tweaked to cause less trouble.

Namely, the explosion radius and damage of Meteor Showers have been reduced, while the rock velocity of Volcanic Activity has been decreased slightly.
Lighting on the planet Fenrir III has also been tweaked to improve visibility during Meteor Showers.
Finally, several fixes have been implemented to address various situations that could cause the game to crash, including a PS5 boot issue.
