GREGGS customers are delighted as the bakery slashes the price of their popular pizza deal.

Fans are rushing to stock up for dinner as every flavour of pizza box is reduced to a dirt cheap price.

Flavours consist of Margherita, Pepperoni, Spicy Mexican Chicken, Pepperoni Hot Shot and Half and Half.

Each pizza now costs only £7.99 and has been reduced from £9.55.

Customers flocked to Facebook to share their joy.

One person reckoned: “Could be a good call for dinner at work go halves lol.”

While another said: “Seen that 2day, looks good.”

A third suggested: “If you pop the pizza in an air fryer on bake for about 5/6 mins it browns the cheese of and restores the taste to as if it had just come out of the oven at the shop, also works perfectly the day after and for sausage rolls.”

It comes as Greggs confirmed it will be closing a store in Bristol.

The store is located inside the Broadwalk shopping centre and the closing date has not yet been confirmed.

Greggs Easter menu

For Easter, Greggs is reintroducing three sugary treats to its menu.

An Easter chocolate cake bar

If that’s not enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, you could tuck into a £1.40 (up 15p on last year) Easter chocolate cake bar.

The chocolate-flavoured sponge cake is also topped with chocolate icing and a pink Easter egg for decoration.

The bunny biscuit

The crunchy chocolate bunny biscuits are 328 calories and £1.15 (up 5p on last year).

The biscuits are covered in milk chocolate and hand finished with tasty icing.

The Easter bun

If you haven’t tried an Easter bun, they are made from vanilla sponge, topped with fondant and a cute sugary white Easter bunny.

They are priced at £1 (5p less than last year) and contain 210 calories.
