And it’s not the first time that Asda has offered a deal to help customers struggling with the soaring cost of living.

Last month, shoppers aged 60 and over were also able to get hot soup and a roll with unlimited tea and coffee for £1.

The retailer has also made its Kids Eat for £1 meal deal a permanent feature across all of their cafes as well.

This initiative includes baby food, with little ones able to get a free pouch of Ella’s Kitchen baby food in their local Asda café.

Meanwhile, Asda shoppers have also been hailing the company’s products for helping them with their energy bills.

An excited shopper recently took to a Facebook bargains group to post a pic of a duvet set that she bought from Asda‘s homeware brand George.

She captioned the post: “£5.50 in asda st austell quite a bargain considering they are around £20 in tesco.”

This is the “Super Snuggly Teddy Fleece” duvet set.

It promises warmth and comfort like no other blanket on the market, and it’s available in a range of sizes.
