The property spans across a third of an acre and house hunters can make it theirs for half-a-million pounds

The old graveyard chapel has remnants of it’s history remaining with solid oak floors, slate windows sills and hue stain glass windows to marvel at.

Built in 1835, the religious history of the chapel enjoys idyllic views of the North Devon countryside.

Photos of the 19th century chapel show that investors shouldn’t be put off by the thought of coffins, with garden furniture, wooden benches and hot tubs replacing the former.

It boasts historic exterior with modern interiors showing a swanky kitchen and a bathroom with a built-in walk in shower and roll top bath.

The master bedroom, located on a mezzanine overlooks a stained glass window that shines down beams onto a glass floor.

The Ilfracombe chapel was converted in 2006 and has a second bedroom with access to a loft and built in storage.

An open plan reception area adorns the entryway to the cosy house with a striking spiral staircase leading to the first floor.

A spokesperson for OnTheMarket: “This is a really unique property. It’s great to see so many of the original features incorporated into the renovation.

“The stained glass windows are a stand-out feature and for the right person, this will make an interesting and stunning home.”

With ample parking and space for even a garage with permission, property express have considered this an ideal home.

Bond Oxborough Phillips Estate Agents have listed the property for £500,000 and Senior Negotiator Ben Heath has said: ‘’”It’s rare to come across a property such as this.

“But I’m sure it will be a unique and treasured home for its next owner.”
