Shoppers will save £4.50 with the ‘special’ offer but it is unclear how long it will last.

Asda’s £1 Ferrero Rocher’s is £5 cheaper than Tesco’s version and even more than Sainsbury’s offer, which costs £5.80.

One excited Ferrero Rocher fan posted the special offer on Facebook with the caption: “I bought quite few from Asda.”

Hundreds of people reacted to the post with many desperate to get their hands on the chocolates.

Ferrero Rocher’s aren’t the only luxury chocolates Asda has put on offer.

The major supermarket slashed the price of 200g boxes of Lindt Lindor Milk Blood Orange Chocolate Truffles to just 75p in a final clearance sale.

The bargain supermarket chain previously reduced the price of the chocolates to £1.50, but dropped them to 75p to clear them off the shelves.

It comes after Asda launched a new own-brand cookies and cream flavour spread that has shoppers rushing to the tills.

The £1.85 condiment has been a hit with customers with many enjoying the artificial flavours, giving the sweet taste fans love.

Excited customers took to Facebook to let others know the new treat was on the shelves.

One person commented: “The cookies and cream is amazing and gluten-free also a win-win for my son.”

“The cookies and cream one is lush,” another user added.

The Sun has revealed the cheapest place to buy Cadbury chocolate boxes for Mother’s Day.

And shoppers are racing to get their hands on delicious Aldi chocolates which dupe luxury brand Lindt.
