BIG Mac junkies have vowed never to eat McDonald’s again after witnessing how their onions are prepared. 

Huseyin claims to have worked for the burger-chain and explained the process while fans of the two-patty treat watched on in horror.

In the video – which is a duet of someone showing the onions being prepared – the TikToker confirms that the system is the same way he was taught when working for the burger-chain.

He said: “This is how we make the onions.

“First get two packs of dehydrated onions and put them in a container.”

As he talks viewers can see them being poured into a tub before being drowned in ice cubes and water.

He said: “I don’t actually add ice, just water.”

The sludge-fest of dry onions, ice and liquid is then mixed together and thrown in the fridge while all of the water is absorbed.

He said: “You have to let the onions rehydrate.”

After seeing the not-so-appetising process some fast-food fans vowed to avoid the restaurant entirely.

But some users were quick to clap back at the video, stating that it won’t stop them from tucking into the meal in the future.

One user said: “This does not change anything, I’m going to get my cheeseburger.”

And a second user said: “I would still eat it, what does that say about me.”

It’s not the first time Brits have been given a behind-the-scenes view of some of their favourite food-chains.
