IMAGES of an incredible Asda bargain started appearing online, but people thought it was just one store’s error.

Soon however, people started checking out their local stores to find that the price has been dropped to £1 across the nation.

Shoppers online have already missed out on the deal, but PlayStation fans have still been able to find remaining copies in their local store.

Immortals of Aveum is a first-person shooter that launched last year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

It tried to mix up the genre by offering a mix of different magic spells instead of guns.

The blurb reads: “Immortals of Aveum is a single-player first person magic shooter that tells the story of Jak as he joins an elite order of battlemages to save a world on the edge of abyss.

“With legions of soldiers on both sides of the Everwar, he must uncover the mysteries of Aveum’s troubled past, if there’s any hope for saving the future.

“Master three forces of magic and unleash spells with deadly skill in a game that defies FPS conventions.”

On launch, Immortals of Aveum sold for £49.99, so this offer is one of the best deals of all time.

The assumption is that the deal will only go on as long as copies are available, so once Immortals is sold out, the deal is gone for good.

It’s likely that this deal is because supermarkets have been scaling back physical video game sales in store.

Studies suggest that up to 95% of video games are now bought digitally, meaning the market for physical games is much smaller.

They are also small but expensive items and more likely to be stolen from stores.
