PLAYSTATION fans have one of the best games of the year coming out later this month.

Better than that, they can grab a taste of it three weeks early, and it’s absolutely free.

Cloud and the gang will soon venture into the open world

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was voted the Most Anticipated Game of 2024 at the The Game Awards in December.

The demo is available now for anyone who owns a PlayStation 5, and they can download it completely free.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be a PS5 exclusive and follows on the story of 2020’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

The demo can be picked up via the PlayStation Store through your console.

More in Game Releases

Navigate to the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth page on the PlayStation Store, and choose to download the demo.

The demo covers a significant chunk of the game, allowing players to follow Cloud’s journey in his flashback through Nibelheim.

This includes working with Sepiroth, when Cloud meets Tifa for the first time, and the events leading up to the disaster at Nibelheim.

If you complete this chapter, it will carry over to the full game once it is released so that you don’t have to tread old ground.

There will also be an update on February 21 that will add a new section to play through.

However, as this area is smaller than in the full game, this data will not carry over if you play the full release.

It will still give people a better feel for the full release so they can make a more informed decision.

If you want to get your hands on more Final Fantasy games, check out how you can grab Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade for free.
