And shoppers have had their eyes on one in particular in recent days – After Eight mini eggs.

The share bag, based on the iconic mint chocolate, comes in at 81g and roughly 356 calories and is also reportedly on sale at B&M.

We’ve spotted them on the Tesco website as well, selling for £1.50 or £1.35 if you’ve got a Clubcard.

And Asda, Ocado, Morrisons and Iceland all have the bag for £1.25.

We’ve asked Poundland how much the bag costs and how many stores it is available at and will update this story when we have heard back.

The share bag is already getting traction online though, after one shopper posted the find in the Food Finds UK Facebook page.

Hundreds have liked and commented on the post, with plenty full of good reviews for the sweet snack and others keen to snap them up.

One said: “These are delicious”, while a second added “They look lush.”

A third, tagging a friend, commented: “We need to find them,” and a fourth continued: “Need to try these!”

Of course, bear in mind when buying something like this to shop around as you might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.

It’s not the first time in recent weeks shoppers have been left in choc shock after spotting tasty Easter eggs on shelves.

A number of retailers have already started stocking the sweet treats months in advance.

Last month, Asda shoppers were rushing out to buy a Tony’s Chocolonely salted caramel flavour egg.

Meanwhile, Tesco shoppers were left “obsessed” after spotting a Skittles Easter egg box set.

It came after Quality Street fans were left proclaiming “I’m so ready” after spotting one of its Easter eggs on B&M’s shelves.

Meanwhile, the KitKat Incredible Caramel Cookie Collision Easter Egg is back on retailer’s shelves, much to the delight of fans.
